Best live shows:

  • AC/DC – Wembley Stadium (Band just get better and better. Was pleasantly surprised by the new Wembley)
  • Thunder – Leeds Arena
  • Chameleons – Hebden Bridge Trades Club (Packed, sweaty, crowd really up for it. Classic Set.)
  • New Model Army – York Fibbers

Best venue:

Hebden Bridge Trades Club is a socialist club that has more recently started to put on some really good bands. Its run by volunteers, is well priced and has great sound for a small venue. Amongst the bands to have ed through this small venue in recent times includes Patti Smith, Thurston Moore, Hookworms and The Wytches.
