Telephone No: 0300 678 9222

Date Founded: 1966 (built in 1847)

Brief History: It has been 50 years since the Roundhouse was transformed from an old train shed to a performing arts centre & concert venue. The Grade II listed building has an interesting and varied history and remains an incredibly popular London venue. Home of the annual Apple Music Festival (formally iTunes Festival). In the summer there is a man-made beach on the roof!

Personal Experience: Another of my favourite buildings in London. One of my personal highlights was winning tickets to see P!nk play as part of the iTunes Festival a few years ago, and more recently Amon Amarth put on an incredible show at the end of 2016.

Notable Acts Played There: Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, David Bowie, The Rolling Stones, The Ramones, Blondie, Radiohead & Billy Talent.

Highlights Coming Up: Trivium on 17 February, and Hawkwind on 26 May.
