Not the first time we’ve featured the harp as a cover instrument on this site, but I just had to pop this one up after it appeared on my facebook feed.
Posted by Anthrax themselves (or their facebook monkey, anyway), the harpist is Amy Turk. She was asked to play a friend’s wedding and was surprised to be asked to cover a metal track. The one requested was the excellent “Safe Home” from the final Bush-era album We’ve Come For You All.
At the time of writing, Amy’s facebook page has 666 likes so I’m loathe to show my appreciate as I don’t want to be the one to break something and annoy the Dark Lord himself.
Oh, and her brother is Ben – drummer with Gloryhammer, Sorcerer’s Spell and Jaldaboath! He also edits videos like the one below!
