We’ve featured Postmodern Jukebox before, but they’re back again as they’ve doubled up with Puddles Pity Party (aka Mike Geier) to produce this particularly morose, downbeat version of what’s generally known as being a very upbeat, bouncy track.
Geier has a superb voice and carries off the “sad clown” act really well. His other stuff on YouTube is well worth checking out, as is Postmodern Jukebox’s material. Both acts are great at putting their own spin on classic tracks… and the two together have pulled of a cracker with this one.
