Dead of Winter Fest has been and gone but the stench and memories from this event will live long in the memory. Fighting against the storm of a generation forced the promoters of DOW to make the event a one day festival, but all those that attended were treated to a near-capacity Ivory Blacks in Glasgow. It was a feast of underground death metal and a long twelve hour day was had. It was a pleasure to see so many old and new faces in the crowd.
For our final interview, we have headliners Tenebro who brought their take on groovy horror laden death metal to the masses and ended what was a brilliant day. Vocalist Hannes covered in all sorts of fluid, make up and blood, accompanied by man mountain and guitarist Rich Wills had a chat with Sean and talked about all things Tenebro, the festival and how they got invited to play the festival. We will need to have an online interview to get into this Italian horror-worshipping death metal god at a future date.
