Dope have just announced a huge US headlining tour off the back of their recent crowdfunder, having hit their first target. A live album is due out in June (recorded at a recent reunion show in Russia) before the long-awaited Blood Money drops later in the year. The live recording features lead man Edsel Dope along with classic line-up Acey Slade, Virus and Racci Shay… the same group that’s about to tour the US.
So what about other countries? Essentially, buy the live album and buy their merch from dopereunion.com and as the targets get hit, the thermometer goes up. The US tour will be filmed and enough funding on top will result in a massive DVD release with a ton of extra footage. Around the same point a UK/Russia tour is triggered. A massive European tour is lined up if the funding continues and if you keep on buying then Australia and Japan can be reached with the Die Motherfucker Die Reunion tour.

We are all really excited about this tour! It’s been a long time since Dope has done a full USA tour. The fact that we are able to do this with the Die Mother Fucker Die Reunion lineup makes it that much sweeter and more fun for all involved. We are gonna play the longest sets of the band’s career – 20 plus song sets every night. Several songs from each of our 6 albums, including brand new tracks from the studio album Blood Money, which is due out later this year via E1 Entertainment.
2016 is indeed shaping up to be a hell of a year for Dope.
