Glasgow’s crossover kings Revolve have released a teaser video of their new track, ‘Withered’.
The new track comes ahead of their hotly anticipated split 7″ with Glaswegian metalcore mob Eternal War. Fans of their stunning 2015 debut will recognise the thunderous riffs, relentless pace, titanic grooves, incendiary licks, and monstrous vocals which made this a highlight of an awesome year for Scottish hardcore.
If anything, this new track sounds even bigger than what has come before: testament to their growing talents as songwriters and showmen. But the new scale is also doubtless thanks to the addition of guitarist Martin Barrett, of indie-punks Flakes and Eternal War fame. If they sounded massive with one guitar maestro, just wait until you hear them with two.
‘Withered’ will make its live debut in Glasgow’s Audio on Monday as Revolve, alongside Eternal War and fellow crossover champions Kingpin, open for American hardcore thrashers Power Trip.
