Leicester based events promoter ResinEvents and Uprising Festival have announced media partnerships with the Moshville Times.
Founder of ResinEvents, Simon Yarwood, comments:
“The world revolves around Social Media so we welcome Moshville Times to the ever expanding ResinEvents network. From promoting our events, to reviewing and photographing as many as possible for us as they happen, we aim to keep spreading our presence across the expanse of social. This in turn will bring more people to experience what we truly believe to be some of the best gigs in the country. Who better to take on that task?”
Simon, who also organises Uprising adds:
“Uprising is absolutely made up to have Moshville Times on board. The whole ethos around Uprising from booking the bands, the epic venue to looking after our customers revolves around quality, and they have that in abundance. If the media chased the best rather than the biggest bands to give exposure to, they would become the biggest. If people chose the best rather than the biggest events to attend they would become the biggest. We at Uprising demand the best and working with Moshville Times, we believe we have the best on board. Let’s wish them luck in becoming one of the biggest. Go check them out for regular music updates!”
Senior Editor James Costin comments:
“We are pleased to announce our partnership with ResinEvents and Uprising Festival. The companies represent what we stand for at Moshville Times. ResinEvents has given the opportunity to bands, irrespective of size, to get their music heard by you, the fans. The same can be said of Uprising which, after a fantastic first year, looks set to be one of the best local metal festivals in 2017. We look forward to working alongside both companies and bringing you coverage of the best live music in the Midlands.”
Simon Yarwood (founding member of Resin) founded ResinEvents in late 2013 after having been dismayed at how difficult it was for small bands to get ‘out of town’ gigs. His solution was to bring both local and out of town bands that he has toured with into the Firebug in Leicester. Since starting, the company has gone on to book bands such as Hell, De Profundis and Eradikator to name but a few, as well as organising the highly acclaimed Uprising event at De Montfort Hall which will be returning bigger and better for its second year in 2017.
