Album News: Kreator, Rotem, Starblind, Rückwater

Merry 2017 to all, and proof that metal never rests with this bunch of news stories that’s continued to drop into our mailbox while we’ve been mainlining turkey gravy.

Kreator

German thrash titans Kreator have released the second video trailer for their album, Gods Of Violence. Watch Kreator mainman Mille Petrozza talk about the working with producer Jens Bogren, the featured guests and the album’s production process below.

The band recently announced an exclusive release show on January 26 at Musik & Frieden in Berlin, . Tickets for the show can’t be purchased but won. All you have to do is mail to [email protected] and send them a pic or video of you and your ticket for one of the shows of the Gods of Violence Tour, hitting Europe from Feb 2nd till Mar 7th! The coolest contributions will be rewarded with an exclusive invitation! Deadline is January 10th, 2017.

Rotem

Quick update from Portuguese beasts Rotem who have released the artwork for their new album Nação Valente E Imortal. The title track, sung in their native language, has also been made available on YouTube.

The only details we have regarding a release date for the final product is… “2017”. Which gives them plenty of time to put finishing touches towards the production and packaging!

Starblind

Starblind are back! The band present a new singer and a new album in 2017. Same heavy metal as before. Please welcome Marcus Sannefjord Olkerud to the Starblind family! We’ve no more details on the album itself, but with the addition of Marcus to the line-up, we know that things are definitely underway and a release can be expected sometime in the next 363 days.

Rückwater

Rückwater is a three-headed stoner rock monster hailing from Tampere, Finland. Their new EP named Bonehead is due to be released on February 24th 2017 by Secret Entertainment. Heartfelt lyrics, strong tunes, two asskickin’ lead singers and a boogie that varies from furious to mellow makes this record worth a listen.

Rückwater has shared a stage with names like Joey Belladonna and stoner legends Karma To Burn, so this really is a band to watch out for.
