Following the announcement of their forthcoming aural masterpiece, The New Dark Ages, which you can pre-order now, your Lords and Masters GWAR are pleased to announce their return to the road. On the first leg of the ‘The Black Death Rager World Tour’ your favorite Scumdog warriors will touch down in Europe for the first time in almost three years.
The tour kicks off July 29th in Tilburg, Holland and culminates with a show at London’s Dome on August 18th. In addition to GWAR’s own headline shows, the tour also features stops at Bloodstock, Wacken Open Air and Pol’land’Rok Festivals.

The New Dark Ages album concept is tied to a companion graphic novel, GWAR In The Duoverse of Absurdity, in which the band are sucked off into an alternate universe to do battle with their evil twins and the spectre of rogue technology. Our heroes floorboard it through a kaleidoscope of hard driving heavy metal and rock-n-fucking roll, building on their hilarious mythos, introducing cool new characters, and cataloguing mankind’s hapless abandonment of their ions, rituals and beliefs. The CD, digital and graphic novel are released on June 3rd, and the vinyl and cassette on September 16th.
