Nemesis is an all female death metal band coming from Serbia, and we featured them on a livestream on our Facebook page some time ago.
The band was formed in late 2013. and started as a cover band for Arch Enemy, Kreator, Pantera and Death. In 2016. the band completely shifted towards composing their original songs and that is when they released their first single “Vengeance” that was followed by more songs released with videos on YouTube.
Nemesis released their debut album The War Is On under the Grom Records label in February. The album contains 10 songs which were met with great audience reactions, both local and international. In November 2021. they released a new single “The Scales of Fate” and announced their second album Embrace Reality which was released on 26th of January 2024 and is now available to stream on Spotify.
Album contains 8 songs, 7 new unreleased tracked and “The Scales of Fate” as a bonus track. The label of the new album is again Serbian underground label Grom Records, and the recording of album was financially ed by SOKOJ – an organization of musical authors in Serbia for protection of music copyright. All artwork on the album was designed by a Serbian artist Tea Jagodić.

Nemesis believes that this album shows their musical progress and that it represents band’s old identity but in a better and more brutal form.
Nemesis had the opportunity to perform on all major festivals in Serbia such as Exit festival, Arsenal Festival, Beerfest Festival, Beergarden Festival and they won second place at Bunt Rok Festival which is aired on National Television in Serbia. They also performed at multiple festivals abroad, amongst which is Hills of Rock in Bulgaria, Revolution Festival, Gugulan Rock festival and Rockstadt Extreme festival in Romania and Carnival of Evil in Malta.
They had the opportunity to open concerts for Bullet For My Valentine, Thy Art is Murder, Nervosa and they performed at the Main Stage of Exit festival before Sabaton in Summer 2021.
Nemesis describes their music as raw, energetic, catchy and brutal.
