Empiric presents their second album entitled The Seven Laws, based on the book The Seven Spiritual Laws by Deepak Chopra. The album was produced by JP, who is also in charge of the guitars and vocals, ed by legendary Brazilian bassist Luis Mariutti (Shaman, Angra) and drumming prodigy Chus Gancedo.
The Seven Laws also features special collaborations by Sascha Paeth (Avantasia, Heaven’s Gate, Masters of Ceremony), Doug Scarratt (Saxon), Chris Caffery (Savatage, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Metalium), Grammy Award-winning musician and producer Tonio Ruiz (Coda), as well as Marcelo Véliz and Gustavo Escobar (Ricky Martin).
Mixing and mastering was done by legendary producer Fredrik Nordström (Dream Evil, Hammerfall, In Flames, Arch Enemy, Dimmu Borgir, Powerwolf, Opeth, Spiritual Beggars…) at his renowned Studio Fredman in Gothenburg, Sweden.
The Seven Laws is a solid rock album that incorporates elements of different styles and genres, united under Empiric’s sonic amalgam, resulting in a unique and particular album.
