Still in line with the Russian invasion, it is dedicated to another fallen hero:
The song “Zmijevi Valy” (Serpent Mounds) [is] based on the poem by our friend Jurii Ruf, who died defending Ukraine in the spring of 2022.
Yuriy Ruf was not only a poet turned soldier but also a writer and a scientist. Sadly this context reminds of the “Executed Renaissance” from Where the Words Acquire Eternity, a sort of nowadays continuity.
Letters to the Future Self will be out tomorrow, on Friday 13th of December, on Drakkar Productions. As for concerts, Khors will play at the War Against War Festival in Berlin in November 2025. Let’s hope they could play closer and earlier than this!
