
Returning with opus number fourteen The Plague Within (released next week, reviewed here), Paradise Lost are once again refining the chemical equation to their sonic alchemy with the kind of creative invincibility few can afford. It’s a collection of songs that will surprise even the most seasoned of fans in its ambition: a monochrome miasma of morbidly uplifting anthems and heart-aching melancholia.
In anticipation of this release, the band recently launched a new video for the track “Beneath Broken Earth” as well as announcing UK tour dates. Directed by Ash Pears (AshTV) the video can be watched here:

In other news drummer Adrian Erlandsson will sit out the band’s European tour due to other commitments. Finnish drummer Waltteri Vayrynen has stepped in for the run of shows. Vayrynen comments:
