So our Tour News today is a little longer here. There’s a few farewell tours, a debut tour and everything from punk to tech metal to whatever you happen to class Gov’t Mule as.

Energy (+Miss Vincent)

Fresh from ing Creeper on their UK tour a few weeks ago, Boston’s finest; Energy are back on their own trekking the UK. Accompanying them is our very own Miss Vincent, who, aside from two release shows at Southmpton’s ers and London’s Garage,  will be playing their new record Somewhere Else in full for the first time. This pair are not to be missed this summer.

July:

Life Of Agony

This September, Life Of Agony will hit our shores for a seven date UK tour in of their newest release; A Place Where There’s No More Pain. Bearing in mind this is the newest Life Of Agony material we’ve seen in twelve years, the following shows will be explosive.

September:

  • 19th – Institute, Newcastle

RIVIẼRE

Following their debut album Heal, the french prog metallers will embark on their debut UK tour this July as to Sarah Longfield. “Satin Night” off the new record was recently released so for anyone who has not heard of the band and enjoy the likes of Deftones, Thrice and Tool, there may be a good place to start.

The Colour Line

Sadly, this following tour is the last time around for mathchore quartet THE COLOUR LINE. Having cemented their place in the scene after the past six years of hardcore dedication, the band will play the following dates to close their career including a spot at Newark’s prestigious Tech-Metal Fest. This will be your last chance so get off the fence now!

June:

July:

Gov’t Mule

And now for something completely different. American rockers Gov’t Mule will play five shows this October (including an Irish show!) in of their twentieth studio release; Revolution Come…Revolution Go, out on June 9thEven after 20+ years and 2000 shows now firmly under their belt, band founder Warren Hayes says this record is a “New chapter opening up for the band”. You may find one of our crew investigating this new chapter of theirs.

October:

Textures

Finally, dutch polyrythmic mind-fuck metallers Textures have announced four UK/IRE shows in addition to an extensive list of European and Indian dates to bow out of their 14 year long career. Again, this is the last chance to catch these guys, if you’re unaware of the band, we at Moshville highly recommend the group. Get yourselves to one of these dates and thank us later.
