Tuesday Video Roundup: Korn, Far From History, The Alchemy, Cross the Divide

Hmm. Tuesday. I never could get the hang of Tuesdays. Or is it Thursdays? Actually, Wednesdays aren’t that great either. Let’s just watch some videos.

Korn – “Insane”

Korn have today unveiled a strange, fascinating video for new song, “Insane”. Directed by Ryan Valdez, it’s a ghastly take on post-mortem photography or ‘momento mori’, the practice of preserving loved ones after death with images.

The song is lifted from LP The Serenity of Suffering and can be [amazon text=ed now&asin=B01IJAYOWC]. The Alchemy – “Blackhole enger”

The Alchemy are a Canterbury based 4-piece exponent of the new breed of English rock bands that effortlessly blend big guitars, big synths and big melodies.

We’re really excited about releasing this video for Black Hole enger. Black Hole enger is a song about not getting pulled into someone else’s train wreck. We really wanted a simple but effective video of us smashing out the song live to give people an idea of the energy and ion we have for our music.

The track come from their debut EP Modern Age which is out now ([amazon text=Amazon link&asin=B01ED4MI5I]).

Cross the Divide – “Sail on the Stars”

Hard/progressive rock trio Cross The Divide have released the Official Video for “Sail On The Stars,” the sophomore single off of their full length debut album Fearless, due out on October 14th.

‘Sail on the Stars’ is a song that deals with loss. The message in this song is that when a person is left behind due to death or parting, it is important to be able to let go and find comfort in the right places. In the case of hurt, forgiveness is a vital part of that parting and grieving process. This song deals with all of that in a simple idea, a blessing: ‘sail on the stars.’

You can purchase “Sail on the Stars” through CD Baby.
