Wednesday Video Roundup: Soulwound, Osaka Punch, Mute, Those Damn Crows

Welcome to the Metal Midweek…

Soulwound – “Altars of Skin”

A Finnish thrash metal band Soulwound is releasing their second album No Peace via Inverse Records on October 21st 2016. No Peace picks up where the debut left off, offering fast, brutal, heavy and aggressive metal with both old-school and more contemporary influences forming the basis of the sound and nihilistic lyrics topping things off. Hit potential of any kind or radio-friendly choruses were definitely not on the agenda!

Osaka Punch – “Make the Call”

Osaka Punch are releasing one of the most bat-s*#t crazy clips you’ve ever seen for single “Make the Call”. Call it “Fear & Loathing in Bris-Vegas” if you want. An acid-fuelled trip (literally) to Brisbane’s famed EKKA was the brief… and that’s just what frontman Jack Muzak did. At this point, it’s unsure who the experience was weirder for – Jack Muzak or the unsuspecting punters who managed to find themselves in his vicinity.

Mute – “Fill the Void”

Bird Attack Records has announced the g of Québec City punk outfit Mute and will be releasing the band’s new album, Death. CD/Digital will be released on October 14th with vinyl being scheduled as well.

Today, you can check out the first single & video for the band’s song “Fill The Void”.

Those Damn Crows – “Blink Of An Eye”

Taken from their highly anticipated debut album, Murder and the Motive (due September 26th), “Blink of an Eye” is a hugely melodic slice of modern rock, propelled by Shane Greenhall’s ionate vocals and blessed with an unforgettable hook, ‘Blink of an Eye’ captures the essence of the band in just under five remarkable minutes!
