Rapidly approaching week’s end and only a day-and-a-half to go. Here’s a nice new collection for you, including a bit of live stuff…
JOANovARC – “Dragon In The Sky”
JOANovARC unveil the brand new video for their powerful and punchy new single Dragon In The Sky, from their forthcoming debut album Ride Of Your Life released on November 11th through Red Vixen Records. You can [amazon text=pre-order the album through Amazon&asin=B01LEZU1J4] and help this site.
Vibrant and psychedelic with a grunge twist Dragon In The Sky has a dark edge, and deals with “untreated mental illness” and the problems surrounding drugs in society today.
JOANovARC wanted the video to feature animation in order to highlight the psychedelic nature of the song and the subject of a dragon. With the band’s characters displaying the different personalities and moods associated with some mental health disorders, the resulting video is both intense and spectacular.

The video was filmed in December 2015 at Sentrum (Kiev, Ukraine) during a performance in of Kreator.
Eat Me – “Liar”
Ever wondered what a bunch of juvenile punks sound like when you merge influences from Paul Simon to Metallica through to a drunk sounding Weezer? The answer is Eat Me and, oh my word, is it wonderful. Eat Me’s 12″ Melon Enema was released recently through Venn Records and it is a righteous time.
Catch some of Eat Me’s biggest hooks and their most ambitious solos in the song “Liar”, it’s a huge song with plenty of room for you and all your mates to get involved and sing along and air guitar the hell out of it.
In Flames – “Only For The Weak (live)”
One week after the release of their official live DVD, the band once more delivers an explosive performance with their cult hymn “Only For The Weak”. The clip perfectly captures the wild spirit of their DVD Sounds From The Heart Of Gothenburg that was released on September 23rd.
