Going for variety today with an eclectic bunch of new and recently released videos. There’s bound to be something in here for everyone!
Black Stone Cherry
Black Stone Cherry have unveiled a brand new video for “The Chain”, another track taken from their current studio album, The Human Condition. Check out the video below.
Guitarist Ben Wells tells us:
“The Chain” is one of those straight ahead, ‘riff city’, throwdown BSC songs! Not only is the music totally in your face, it also grooves and features a totally metal bridge, which was fun to record! There’s also something to be said for the lyrical message behind this tune. We hope you enjoy! Turn it up!
Blessings
There are elements of hardcore, punk, crust, noise rock, heavy post rock and indie rock in Blessings’ sound… there are moments that remind of At The Drive In and moments that remind of Converge, sometimes even in the same track, and the Gothenburg 4-piece merges these very disparate ends of the spectrum of heavy guitar music into a cohesive, intriguing and idiosyncratic sound.

Depopulation Department
It’s been so long since the release of debut EP Life Kills, and this has been a hardworking period for the band. Despite all difficulties they’ve been through due to the pandemic, they have not stopped composing and recording.
And the wait is over! It’s about time to show off their new songs to all of you, starting with the “Another War Victim” lyric video. This track opens and titles the band’s first full album, that has just been releases through Spanish label Hecatombe Records. 14 crust / punk songs more direct and raging than ever, all of them are already available in CD format and will be on vinyl shortly.
Headless
European hard rock band, Headless, composed of who have performed alongside the likes of Yngwie Malmsteen, Geoff Tate (ex-Queensryche) and Elegy – has signed with M-Theory Audio. Their new album Square One, which blends classic rock catchiness with heavier progressive metal influences, will be released later this year. The first single “Woman in White” – an energetic rocker with a melodic power metal vibe includes lyrics inspired by the works of classic American poet Emily Dickinson – is available for streaming and now on all digital music platforms. A video in which the ghost of the death-obsessed poetess is projected in a typical video game setting, was directed by Dimitar Stamenov (Sabaton, Motörhead).

Toxic Ruin
Sheboygan, Wisconsin’s Toxic Ruin have unleashed the music video for the title track of their forthcoming sophomore album (and M-Theory Audio debut) Nightmare Eclipse. The song shows off the group’s concoction of energetic thrash metal laced with death metal brutality and clinical technicality. The lyric video can be viewed at below, while the song itself is now available for streaming/ through all major digital music platforms.
Hranice Abyss
With several influences, going through The Black Dahlia Murder, Cattle Decapitation, Necrophagist, Death and Lamb Of God to Slayer, merging with modern views of bands like Meshuggah, Slipknot, Decapitated and beholding productions of Dream Theater and Porcupine Tree, Hranice Abyss seeks the union of visceral with aesthetic beauty, from pure catharsis to sublimation. The lyrical themes extend to philosophical questions of the culture industry of Adorno and Horkheimer, Nietzsche’s nihilism and liberated life, Bauman’s liquid relations and the simulations of Baudrillard.
