They’ve successfully made the jump from pop punk to post-hardcore, and now Keep This Up want to show everyone what they are fully capable of. With three singles under their belts so far in 2023, each more successful than the last, the Peterborough quartet are delighted to announce their new EP Paper Houses. Landing on June 30th, Paper Houses contains half a dozen tracks of raw, emotional post-hardcore, including “Bury Me”, “Find Myself”, and the current single, the BBC Radio1 and Kerrang! featured “As Above, So Below”.
Paper Houses is a culmination of songs from the heart. Exploring hard hitting lyrics through melodic riffs and hardcore breakdowns. From toxic breakups to finding yourself – this EP explores life and the details.

The current single from Paper Houses is the recently released “As Above, So Below”. The track has been enjoying success across UK rock radio, most notably on BBC Radio One with Alyx Holcombe, and was featured in the Kerrang Chart for the best singles of the week. From the intro riffs that will induce head nodding whether you know it or not to Jared Turner’s explosive vocals, this is Keep This Up’s finest single yet.
Lyrically, As Above, So Below tackles the topic of mental health and being able to resist nagging feelings of doubt and negativity. The band tell us all more:
“A ripping rock song venturing into post hardcore that faces the struggle of mental health and feeling like you can overcome it. It’s like that voice in the back of your mind trying to drag you down below but you’re so above it.”
