Round five of this year’s Metal 2 the Masses Northern Ireland took place on Thursday night at Voodo in Belfast. Once again hosted by The Distortion Project, four bands battled it out for the two places in the next round and the ultimate prize of a slot on Bloodstock’s New Blood stage in August.
ing them this week were special guests Ten Ton Slug who kept the crowd warm as deliberations were undergone by the judges.
The two bands who sadly got to go home and count their wooden spoons were Wintriness and Cloakroom Q. Progressing to the semi-finals… Cursed Sun and Victim Royal.
The next heat will take place at Limelight 2 Belfast on Saturday March 17th.
